Inhalt:

Have you ever wondered or thought about the extent to which the language(s) we speak affect how we think and behave? In this seminar, we will tackle this topic and have a look at the psychological side of language. Furthermore, we will learn about neuroimaging methods as well as the impact of language on cognition. We are going to gradually read book chapters (see below) and a few related research articles and discuss them together in class. Furthermore, I ask you to develop (and execute) a project idea, which is meant to apply one of the discussed topics to your own life. There will be ample time to discuss and develop project ideas! More details in class.
