Every year, the conference of the PGF the Postgraduate Forum of the German Association for American Studies is hosted by a different German university.
This year's PGF conference will take place at Bamberg University from November 6 8, 2015. The conference is co-organized by the departments of American Studies in Bamberg and Bayreuth. More information:
Like every year, the PGF 2015 will bring together young scholars of American Studies (PhD & post-doctorate level) for presentation-based discussions of current issues in the field. In addition, this year s PGF will feature a poetry reading and a workshop on career opportunities for graduates in American Studies, focusing especially on career possibilities outside academia.
