- Inhalt
- In Iran and neighbouring regions, stucco decorations were part of the most splendid interior decorations from the Sasanian period to the 15th century. Building on a long tradition in the Middle East, the use of stucco as architectural decoration was relatively cheap and easy to produce but offered a wide range of options for artistic design. The three-day workshop on Iranian stucco presents papers by specialists dealing with various aspects of stucco techniques, styles, and contexts, and approaching the material with a variety of research methods. Students are most welcome to attend. A concise portfolio will be required for credits.
