- Inhalt
- One of the educational aims is the understanding of the physiological basis of pain. In recent years knowledge about the pain-related functions of certain brain areas has accumulated. However, pain has to be considered also as a psychological variable. It can be considered as perception, motivation or behaviour. Cognitions and learning are further critical components of pain. The course will not only provide a basic understanding of pain but also occasion to produce scientific English at a beginner level.
