Inhalt:

Do people from different cultures have different personalities? Do people feel happier in some cultures than in others? Is attractiveness a culturally universal trait? Do we have a different sense of humor in different cultures? How do people deal with interpersonal conflicts in different cultures? This course helps you answer some of these interesting questions you may have about a role of culture in explaining various psychological phenomena. The course gives an introduction to the latest research in the field of cross-cultural psychology, and you will be able to learn about important theoretical concepts as well as basic methodology related to cross-cultural research.
