- Inhalt:
- This seminar is about the politics and policies of immigration in liberal democracies. It addresses the relationship of mobility, migrants and the nation-state, taking into account the determinants and effects of migration policies. It aims at introducing students to central theoretical concepts, empirical research and debates in the analysis of migration policies. The seminar will be held in English. The sessions will include lecturer s & student presentations, group discussions and group work. Participants are expected to have read the assigned papers in advance of the sessions and to engage actively in class discussions.
