1. Students understand the relevance of and the connection between the specific subthemes of family relationships, and can give relevant explanations. This will be tested with a (group) presentation. 2. Students can formulate sociological problems regarding the subthemes, they can derive hypotheses from existing theories, and they can assess on basis of existing empirical literature which hypotheses/theories are supported and which not.
