DSG-DistrSys-M: Distributed Systems [DSG-DistrSys-M] -

- Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches:
- Master students are only permitted to enroll in this course if they have not enrolled in the (older) DSG-IDistrSys course during their bachelor or master studies before.
- Inhalt:
- The lectures will be used in two modules (running in parallel), i.e., DSG-IDistrSys-B for Bachelor students as well as DSG-DistrSys-M for Master students. The lectures (equivalent to approx. 2 hours/week) are shared by both modules as well as parts of the exercises and assignments: However, master students are required to work on one more elaborate assignment as well as reading some additional advanced papers compared to bachelor students.

DSG-IDistrSys-B: Introduction to Distributed Systems [DSG-IDistrSys-B] -

- Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches:
- Programming in Java as taught in the modules DSG-JaP-B and DSG-AJP-B; DSG-PKS-B is not a requirement but may help with the practical programming.
- Inhalt:
- The lectures will be used in two modules (running in parallel), i.e., DSG-IDistrSys-B for Bachelor students as well as DSG-DistrSys-M for Master students. The lectures (equivalent to approx. 2 hours/week) are shared by both modules as well as parts of the exercises and assignments: However, bachelor students have to work on fewer and less elaborate assignments as well as there are no additional readings required (compared to master students).
