For all TEFL courses, our team considers three elements as vital:
1) Enrolment: If you sign up for a course, please make sure you attend the first session. If you cannot attend or you need to deregister from the seminar for whatever reason, please inform your lecturer.
2) Regular attendance: If you cannot attend a session, please inform your lecturer via email.
3) Active participation: Please attend regularly, so that you can actively participate in our seminars, engage in fruitful discussions, take part in interactive tasks, and successfully complete your exam/paper.

- There are learner types we need to accommodate , Due to the limits of the working memory, we should not introduce more than nine new vocabulary items per lesson , One should either teach grammar or introduce new words in one class .
There are many myths in ELT, and them being repeated by learned professionals or even printed does not make them true. In this seminar, we will look at some of most common ideas in ELT that are not evidence based. We will also analyze how good data are generated, and how this data can inform good classroom practice.
Im Rahmen des Seminars findet am 17.06.2024 ein Gastvortrag/Workshop von Gastprofessorin Dr. Marta Janachowska-Budych (Diversity-Professorin der Universität Bamberg) zu folgendem Thema statt: Migration-related diversity as a topic in FLT: Selected theoretical and practical aspects.
