- Inhalt
- Health communication is a multidisciplinary field that encompasses the study and practice of communicating health information to diverse audiences with the goal of promoting health and preventing disease by improving understanding of health issues, encouraging healthy behavior, and facilitating informed decision-making. In this course we will learn the basic concepts and theories of health communication, explore different perspectives of patients and healthcare providers, discuss socio-cultural issues, and design an exemplary health campaign. Each biweekly seminar will include theoretical and practical input, discussion of scientific literature, and hands-on sessions to apply the knowledge gained to our own health campaign.
