- Inhalt:
- This seminar is in cooperation with Brent Lagesse, an associate professor at the University of Washington Bothell. His research focus is security and privacy in pervasive computing systems that utilize untrusted data from sources such as crowd sensing and IoT devices. He was recently awarded a National Science Foundation grant to conduct research in security and privacy in crowd sensing for smart city applications with a focus on ensuring that the collected data is trustworthy, that the analysis of the data does not violate user privacy, and that users are not able to manipulate incentive systems.
Topic in this seminar are belong to his research fields:
- Privacy-preserving data stream management, e.g., in tracking applications
- Detect hidden cameras and unwanted streams in smart city environments
- Secure incentives for crowd sensing
