Thema: Exhibition Analystics - Online, Offline
On the 2015 tour, we were on board of the MS Wissenschaft, which is a science exhibition on a ship. Using different sensors (people counting and moving cameras, WIFI trackers, BLE beacons) we tracked movement of people, and we collected environmental data in the exhibition room (temperature, humidity, and so on) from April 2015 to September 2015.
This project will use the data from the MS Wissenschaft for offline analytics (how did people use the exhibition, which were popular exhibits?), and it will develop methods for transforming these offline analytics into online monitoring. Prerequisites are programming skills in Java, useful knowledges (but not required) are statistics, data management, or data stream management.
Depending on the number of participant, we might also transfer the techniques to a similar data set collected at the Sandkerwa 2015 (popular a street festival).
