Bachelor Seminar Mobile Software Systems (MOBI-SEM-B) -
- Dozent/in:
- Daniela Nicklas
- Angaben:
- Seminar, 2,00 SWS, ECTS: 3
- Termine:
- Mo, 16:00 - 18:00, WE5/05.004
- Voraussetzungen / Organisatorisches:
- The number of participants is limited to 10 bachelor student. Free remaining places are for master students.
Information about the selection process is going to be explained an the introductory meeting (24.10.2016, 16:00-18:00).
- Inhalt:
- In this seminar, the overarching topic will be trajectory data mining.
We will start with an overview article that conducts a systematic survey on the major research into trajectory data mining, providing a paranormal of the field as well as the as well as the scope of its research topics.
Following a road map from the derivation of trajectory data, to trajectory data preprocessing, to trajectory data management, and to a variety of mining tasks (such as trajectory pattern mining, outlier detection, and trajectory classification), the survey explores the connections, correlations, and differences among these existing techniques.
Then, each student should choose one of the subtitles of the article and try to expand the issue, using the references in the article or another references, during the course.

On 10 Nov there is an extra time slot 16-18 o´clock - so there will be a double session from 14-18 o´clock on that day!
- Inhalt:
- This modul covers architectures, implementation techniques and algorithms for mobile software systems and software systems that manage mobility.
This includes client-side aspects (mobile applications like location-based services), server-side aspects (data management of moving objects), and aspects of distribution (data communication).
In addition, since many mobile software systems deal with sensitive information like the location of users, aspects of location privacy are covered.
