Inhalt:

Audio drama is the theatre of the mind: Dialogue, SFX and music are evoking images, plunging the audience straight into a story. Our class offers students an insight into dramaturgy and storytelling, digital recording, editing and production. The aim is to create short radio plays that can be broadcast. The course is taught in English. Module-related examination is offered in English or German.

Inhalt:

Frieda FM – Meine, Deine, Unsere Welle! Mit einem neuen On-Air-Design geht Bambergs Uniradio in das neue Semester. Sie lernen dabei die Grundlagen der Radiomoderation: Opener, Anmoderation, Studiogespräche aber auch den Umgang mit Musik und Technik. Die Übung „Frieda FM: Moderation“ besteht aus drei einführenden Blockterminen vor Semesterbeginn und wöchentlichen Sendungen. Sie werden dabei zu zweit oder dritt in festen Moderationsteams arbeiten, die sich von Woche zu Woche abwechseln. Ihre persönliche Entwicklung wird über das komplette Semester in regelmäßigen Airchecks gefördert. Frieda FM sendet in der Vorlesungszeit jeden Mittwoch von 18:00 bis 20:00 Uhr auf max neo.

Inhalt:

Radio machen: Dieses Ziel steht im Mittelpunkt der Übung „Frieda FM: Redaktion“! Hier lernen Sie texten, schneiden und sprechen, um ab der ersten Semesterwoche Ihr Uniradio zu gestalten. In den Redaktionskonferenzen setzen eigene Themen für Umfragen, Interviews und Beiträgen oder sogar Sondersendungen. Bei Interesse besteht die Chance, unsere Social Media-Kanäle sowie die Musikredaktion zu betreuen. Frieda FM – Unsere Welle sendet in der Vorlesungszeit jeden Mittwoch von 18:00 bis 20:00 Uhr auf max neo.

Inhalt:

Today’s global economic system depends on an ever-growing consumption of natural resources, causing enormous economical, ecological and social challenges for local communities and cities. As a consequence, all UN Member states adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in 2015, a commitment to a better and more sustainable future for all. Within this seminar we will discuss best practice examples of jointly implemented Social Development Goals (SDGs) in Germany and Vietnam, Brazil as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina. Students will gain insights how local communities manage these challenges and explore the potential of journalism and media as contributors to advancing sustainable development. In the context of the conference “Correcting Images” students will engage with international journalists, foreign correspondents as well as stakeholders and experts on global development cooperation. Students are encouraged to take part in the conference in Leipzig. All expenses for the participation at the conference are covered. The course is taught in English. Module-related examination is offered in English or German.

Participation is a prerequisite for all students who wish to participate in Audio Drama class and have little or no experience with the (existing) technology.
