- Content and learning objectives
This years’ seminar revolves around the following learning objectives:
Research-related skills that enable participants to
- structure and plan research-related assignments,
- summarize and evaluate scientific publications,
- write a scientific report,
- use and cite literature sources,
- provide a peer review, and
- present own research findings to an audience.
Skills related to the behavioral economics and IS theories that enable participants to
- understand important heuristics, biases, and choice architectures
- become familiar with experimental design to investigate behavioral phenomena,
- relate the insights to challenges in IS design, and
- understand the ethical aspects of behavioral “nudges” in the context of IS and big data.
