Students have to be familiar with the contents of the compulsory lecture Research design and multiple linear and binary logistic regression analysis. Moreover, students are required to be familiar with the statistics package Stata. These skills could either be acquired or refreshed in self-studies or by attending an additional compact tutorial course (This was offered at the beginning of the winter term)

Module-related examination: Seminar thesis (time: 3 months); could be either written in English or German

Es wird der vorherige Besuch des Moduls BA Soz B.1.1 Einführung in die Methoden der empirischen Sozialforschung Teil I empfohlen, da im Modul BA Soz B.1.2 Einführung in die Methoden der empirischen Sozialforschung Teil II grundlegende Konzepte und Begrifflichkeiten aus dem Modul BA Soz B.1.1 als bekannt vorausgesetzt werden. Der Besuch des Moduls BA Soz B.1.1 ist jedoch keine formale Voraussetzung für den Besuch des Moduls BA Soz B.1.2. Fehlende Kenntnisse können eigenständig aufgearbeitet werden.

Eine Voranmeldung (z. B. über Flexnow, am Lehrstuhl, etc.) ist nicht notwendig! Informationen zur Prüfungsanmeldung werden im Rahmen der ersten Veranstaltung mitgeteilt.
