- Inhalt
- The English Film Series offers the opportunity to view some of the finest international films from England, Ireland, Scotland, the United States of America, Canada, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand in the English original version on a big screen.
The screenings will be preceded by a brief introduction by staff or students of the English Department of Bamberg University. These openings will give some contextual information outlining elements of plot and style, details of the social and political situations in which the films were made, and the careers of the various directors, producers and actors.
You may join us for a discussion in one of the nearby Cafés (Austrasse) after the movie. If you would like to help organize the event, feel free to join our meetings; time and place will be announced.
