Grundkurs Listening Comprehension- Dozent/in

- Students should primarily take this course alongside Grundkurs I!
- Inhalt
- Designed to supplement Grundkurs I and to offer students in Grundkurs II further listening practice, this course offers students the opportunity to do listening comprehension practice in both the British and American varieties of English. In this course, which meets in the language laboratory, students will listen to recorded texts and answer questions concerning overall comprehension, vocabulary and grammar, as well as finer language points such as speaker attitude. The format of texts and questions used in this course are very similar to those in the Grundkurs I examinations. It is highly recommended that especially students taking Grundkurs I attend this course regularly as class time in Grundkurs I is mainly used for practice for other parts of the exams!
Students may complete the exercises during class time or any time the language laboratory is open, but students should definitely attend the first class meeting (in the second week of the semester) in order to receive an introduction to the class and an orientation to the equipment in the laboratory.
- Empfohlene Literatur
- The course book used in Grundkurs I and II should be taken along to the lab for weekly practice and a handout will be made available for practice of the American English exercises.
