For all TEFL courses, our team considers three elements as vital:
1) Enrolment: If you sign up for a course, please make sure you attend the first session. If you cannot attend or you need to deregister from the seminar for whatever reason, please inform your lecturer.

3) Active participation: Please attend regularly, so that you can actively participate in our seminars, engage in fruitful discussions, take part in interactive tasks, and successfully complete your exam/paper.
- Inhalt
- In a world in which political, ecological and economic challenges reach far beyond national boundaries, global education has become a major concern for teachers across countries, subject areas and school types. How can the teaching and learning of English in particular take a global perspective and contribute to educating global citizens?
In this seminar, we will start from exploring conceptualizations of language and culture in a global perspective and discuss impacts on the teaching and learning of English. Taking the United Nations‘ Sustainable Developmental Goals (SDGs) as a central framework of reference, we will examine learning objectives in a global framework and will look into consequences for curriculum design, material development, methods and assessment practices by help of practical examples.
A cooperation with a local UNESCO Associated School is intended.
