Depending on the development of the pandemic situation over the winter, parts of this course may be held via MS Teams. The link to the MS Teams room and all course material will be made available via the VC.

  • This course will be held in English.
  • Successful completion of this course requires a passing grade in a written exam.
  • Classes commence in the fourth week of the semester.
  • Registration for course participation via FlexNow! starts 01 October 2022.

Registration for the exam via FlexNow! is possible from 16 January to 30 January 2023.

Inhalt
In this course students will have the opportunity to practice the key skills of language analysis that they have learnt in the lecture An Introduction to Linguistics. Students will work intensively on example sets taken from a broad range of different languages, discuss different analyses, and evaluate different theoretical proposals. The course closes with a written exam.
