- Inhalt
- In this seminar, we will look into the use of methamphetamine and other novel psychoactive substances (NPS), their possible adverse consequences and the measures used to prevent these. We will be discussing examples of methamphetamine prevention in the context of its use, globally as well as within Germany, ways to improve the effectiveness of prevention strategies of methamphetamine use and what role media portrayals of methamphetamine use play. Students will be given the opportunity to apply the material in an interactive fashion.
Learning outcomes should be a deeper understanding of the seriousness of methamphetamine and NPS use, its prevalence as well as the ability to assess and evaluate appropriate prevention strategies.
