Inhalt
The topics in standard statistical courses quickly become very sophisticated. In this course we want to take a step back and think about what chance actually is and try to get an intuitive feeling of probabilities. We will then use this understanding of probabilities to explore how they are used to predict rational behavior. However, human behavior oftentimes diverges from this optimal behavior. The study of such divergent behavior was named behavioral economics. Finally, we ll take a look at what one of the biggest critics of behavioral economics has to say.

I'm happy to answer any questions prior to the start of the course by email: andre.kovac@uni-bamberg.de
