The seminar is open for international students at the master level.
Basic knowledge of sociological concepts and a basic understanding of empirical social/educational research is required.
The course takes place in English. Course assignments can be provided in German (subject to prior consultation with the lecturer).

- Inhalt
- This seminar invites master students to get to know and critically reflect on selected themes in the sociology of higher education. It covers both macro and micro perspectives on higher education, such as the global development of higher education from a comparative perspective, issues of access, inequality and stratification in higher education and also more recent developments in European higher education.
