- Inhalt
- The course is an integrated language course involving grammar revision and consolidation and vocabulary
expansion at the B1 level, as well as practice in reading, writing, listening and oral skills.
By the end of this two-semester course, you should be able to:
• understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
• deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken
• produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest
• describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
At the end of the semester, there will be an exam similar in structure to the Preliminary English Test (PET) but shorter;
in order to receive a certificate indicating that the level of English attained is that of B1, both Preparing for B1 (Teil 1)
and Preparing for B1 (Teil 2) will have to be completed successfully.
There will be two exams in the semester. In order to receive a certificate indicating that the level of English attained is that of B1,
both Preparing for B1 (Teil 1) and Preparing for B1 (Teil 2) will have to be completed successfully.
