To ensure an even distribution between the classes, we will be using the "pool" registration method. You will need to select two time slots in which you are potentially able to attend a Grundkurs I class. Please make sure that you can attend at either of these times as we cannot take individual preferences or circumstances into account! It is therefore imperative that you organise your timetable with your other subject(s) in good time so that clashes are avoided. If you are assigned to a class that clashes with some other course, you will then need to decide which of those classes you take as it will not be possible to switch Grundkurs III parallel classes after the registration closes (on 3 April 2018)!
You should receive a FlexNow email to confirm that you are registered for the three options you choose and then a further mail (after 4 April 2018) to inform you about the class you have been assigned to. Please go along to that class in the first week of term (beginning 9.4.2018 onwards) to "claim your place" and find out important information about the class!
Students must have completed Grundkurs I and Grundkurs II before taking this course!

BA Hauptfach, (mit Studienbeginn vor SS 12) Aufbaumodul/WiPäd Mastermodul (5 ECTS; (mit Studienbeginn ab SS 12) Vertiefungsmodul (5 ECTS)
- Inhalt
- This course is concerned with the development of basic writing skills in English, including organizing ideas, paragraph structure, vocabulary, spelling and punctuation, and editing and revising written work. Assignments practice and assess these various skills and also focus on the types of tasks found in the Textproduktion examination in Staatsexamen.
There will be three central examinations for all Grundkurs III classes, which will take place outside of regular class time. The examinations must be taken on the dates given on the course schedule posted on the VC and as individual dates (Einzeltermine) on univis. Students must register for these exams via FlexNow!
The content and goals of all Grundkurs III classes are identical.
N.B. Only one Grundkurs may be taken per semester. The completion of Grundkurs I and II is thus required for entry into Grundkurs III.
