Assessment Methods: Assessment in this course will include:
• Mid-Course Exam: Around the halfway mark, you'll take an exam to evaluate your understanding and application
of the material covered so far.
• Mid-Course Check-In: This is a chance for you to receive
personalized feedback and set goals for the second half of the course.
• Final Exam: At the end of the course, you'll take part in a comprehensive exam assessing your
grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Inhalt
- Brief Course Description: "Englisch: Sprachpraxis B2: Preparing for B2 (Teil 2)" is a language course
that helps you improve your English to reach the B2 level.
Together, we'll work on grammar, expand your vocabulary, and give you lots of practice
in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
As the second part of our journey to B2 proficiency,
this course aims to refine your ability to understand complex texts,
interact easily and naturally with speakers of English, and share your views on current issues.
By the end of our time together, you'll be able to discuss a wide range of topics,
express your ideas, and understand English at a deeper level.
Learning Objectives: By the end of the course, you will:
• understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics,
including technical discussions in your field of specialization.
• interact easily and naturally with speakers of English.
• share your viewpoints on current issues, weighing the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
Weekly Activities: Each week, we will engage in grammar workshops and vocabulary
building sessions to strengthen our language foundation, alongside reading practice and listening exercises to enhance our comprehension skills.
We will also participate in speaking practice and writing tasks,
actively applying our learning and improving our communication abilities in English.
